Once more, with feeling!

September 9th, 2009

Today is the first Wednesday after labor day, classically the first day for public school in New York state, and for the first time I find myself not returning to start a new year. I am not longer a student and like you all, my four readers, am beginning to come to terms with my new scattered nonstudent-hood. I’m rewriting and refining my resume and scanning the want ads and finding that I am almost stereotypically unemployable. oh well. But most importantly for you, my dear dear readers, I am endeavoring to keep up with my blog. Again. But this time it will be better. Because although I am living with friends here in the fabulous nyc, they are still students and thus are always at school learning or here studying. So I have no one to talk to but the internet. Hopefully I remember all the things that I want to tell you. I could blog instantly with my snazzy new iphone and the wordpress ap, but it keeps telling me that I do not exist. This does not bode well for my ability to remember interesting factoids. One must exist to take part in such endeavors.

Anyway. I hope to keep you all abreast of what I am doing, seeing, reading, eating, listening to, laughing at, and licking as I entertain myself here in the city.

First Real Post

October 27th, 2008

So I have finally done it, taken the plunge into the blogosphere, the interwebs, the blagoblag. Here it is, obviously under construction in its current state, lest you think I have sustained a sharp crack on the head to think that this color scheme really is a good idea. I have no grand plans for this blog, I would be really lucky if only a few readers stopped by and commented from time to time. I would like it very much if this could be a tool for keeping in touch rather than pure exhibitionism and quiet internet friend stalking, which kind of creeps me out. I plan on posting my ruminations and some sketchbook pages as well as other cool stuff that I come up with. Provided that I actually produce cool stuff this semester. One can hope. Anyway. Here it is and I hope that you stop back often. But not too often. Because that would be weird.
